這首歌是我第一次去Brooklyn Tabernacle (a.k.a. 疾風烈火教會)詩班獻詩的歌
當下就非常感動
第二個星期他們又再獻了一次這首
兩次聽都是邊聽邊唱邊流淚
歌詞寫得很直接,但很真實
也很符合我現在的處境
在一個未來未知的情況中
讓這首歌成為我的禱告
感謝上帝

當年家中沒裝第四台，瘋狂愛看頒獎典禮我只好請同學幫忙錄，第13屆經典的頒獎典禮就存在我家的錄影帶中直到今天。看到今年慘不忍睹的金曲獎，於是決定趁最近比較不忙，把VHS轉成數位檔保存，也分享給大家聞香。但不好意思我是用陽春的剪片軟體處理所以開頭都有些雜訊。

當時就覺得這首歌 超。好。聽
今天又再次提起
是因為超偶3總決賽再次被羅平選唱
(我之前根本沒看過超偶,我還是比較喜歡星光)

這是一首經典老歌
連Wikipedia都有專文介紹
歌詞也被重填/翻譯成各種語言
來到台灣甄妮也將它翻唱"奪標"

英文版歌詞是在描述一位即將離世老人
與身旁親友分享回顧過去的種種
他如何堅強、自信面對人生中的挑戰
匆匆歲月中，他為很少事後悔，為自己一生顧昐自豪，走出自己的人生路

曹格也詮釋過這首歌收錄在某張合輯裡
影片是他在Hennessy Artistry Hong Kong 2007的表演

曹格很厲害的不斷轉換真假音來演唱整首歌

聽了這麼多版本
我最喜歡的還是林建輝的演出
他唱出了這首歌的氣勢
雖然仔細想想跟它歌詞意境可能不太合
但我覺得這首旋律用林建輝的詮釋方式比較過癮
其他人演唱的版本大多都是與原唱相同
每一句每一句斷開
我只是比較沒那麼喜歡這種方法

聽了很感動
搜尋之後發現它其實就是電影《奇異恩典》的主題曲
一樣是〈奇異恩典〉只是多加了一小段chorus
雖然是新的chorus但仍與原曲融為一體
